The Universal Leonardo Europe-wide exhibition programme has now terminated.
Details of the exibitions, however, are still available for information on the right-hand side.
Providing a radical alternative to the conventional “blockbuster” exhibition, and with a strong commitment to international and cross-disciplinary collaboration, Universal Leonardo worked with leading curators, art historians, academics and scientists across Europe to stimulate dialogue and discovery around the Leonardo legacy.
The Universal Leonardo exhibitions programme forms the 28th Council of Europe art exhibition. The Council of Europe has organised, for almost 50 years, a series of prestigious exhibitions to increase knowledge and appreciation of European art as one of the highest expressions of European culture and common values. An exhibition focusing on Leonardo's drawings from the Guise Collection and his artistic achievements and practice.
