On 14th December following the fall of Milan to the French, Leonardo sends money to his account in Florence, in anticipation of his return to the city with Luca Pacioli, the famous mathematician who Leonardo probably met in Milan when he came to teach mathematics at the Sforza Court.
Ludovico Sforza is expelled from Milan by the French army and Milan is now under the control of Louis XII.
