Second Florentine period 1500 - 1506/08

On 3rd April Fra Pietro informs Isabella d’Este that Leonardo is at work on a cartoon for a Madonna and Child with St. Anne and a Lamb. In a subsequent letter, he notes that Leonardo is painting the Madonna of the Yarnwinder for Florimond Robertet, secretary of King Louis XII.
